It was nice to see a bunch of players sharing hugs and smiles after the game nonetheless!
Stuck around for the mixed zone interviews (have no idea how much they're showing or not on these clean feeds) but Staley basically said she was happy with the defense, the offense not so much (ugly was a word she used lol), but they did enough to win, and hopefully they bring their best game on Sunday. Which, sounds about what it looked like.

Very interested in DT’s health. Throughout the tournament, she hasn’t looked even close to 100%. She’s deferring constantly. If you watch her, she’s almost always looking to pass immediately like she doesn’t want the ball in her hands. She’s not involved with bringing the ball up the court and is letting Bird and Stewart handle the bulk of the ball handling duties. With that being said, it’s not like she’s out there shot hunting and sprinting off screens. So, I’m sure she’ll play in the Gold Medal Game and then end the WNBA season on the IR. 😞 |

yep. I was thinking her W career may be over. No blame attached. When your body starts telling you, then it's time.
