Excited to see interactions with Quigley , Dolson and Queen Cabbage tonight. I’m sure Liz will be going for blood!

Liz Cambage is super-relevant to my interests, so I'm all-in on the Aces, until the Aces are out. If Vegas loses, I'm rooting for whichever team is playing Washington. |

The Aces are exciting to watch, but they're not a contender this season. I voted for the Sky here as I think their guard play will be too much for Vegas. |
It's not difficult to remember the Liberty disappointing losses in one-game elimination situations. It's also difficult not to apply them to this game, even though the Aces are a significantly more talented team than any of those Liberty teams were. Laimbeer teams, in my estimation, are better the longer a series goes, as opponents are more likely to be worn down by attrition. Plus he's pretty good at making adjustments from one game to another.
Plum has always been an excellent outside shooter, but hasn't found the range this season and we already know Jackie Young is far from a shooter. On paper LV is a much better team all around, especially factoring in defense and rebounding, but you have to consider that in a one-game playoff, perimeter shooting can alter that equation. If Chicago gets hot from 3 (they have some streaky shooters), that could alter the outcome. LV is actually a much better % team from 3 than Chicago, but Chicago also attempted over 200 more threes this season. If LV just forces its will on Chicago that's one thing, but if the game is close...

If LV can get past Chicago I wouldn’t bet against them being able to beat any team in a 5 game series.

Wilson, Plum, J.Young. and Hamby...All with no playoff experience....Chicago was in a similar situation in rd 1 with DeShields, Ndour, Gabby. and Copper.....Let's see how the young Aces players respond.

Bill is going to have to minimize this line up with the Young’s. Chicago leaving both of them absolutely open to double down on Wilson and Cambage. If plum is going to return next season this will be the game we find out!

Aces get two baskets in 4 seconds. A momentum booster for them.

This is not the time to tank, Laimbeer.
