McCowan led the league in Defensive Rebounding % and Rebounding %.

She ain’t Ticha Penicheiro. Laughing

You're right -- McCowan should be fifth. Knew I left someone out ...

But she had eight assists and 44 turnovers and a PER of 11.

I think she's going to be a force in the league, and potentially a franchise cornerstone, but she wasn't that spectacular this year.

I guess being the second leading rebounder in the league and a double digit scorer in just over 20 minutes a game is pretty unspectacular.

Brianna Turner was so much better.

You certainly could make a case that McCowan was better. I went with Turner off of this year's production. McCowan clearly has superior long-term potential.

And also much more production this year. So, there's that small thing ...

McCowan finished the season with a PER of 22.5 (top-10 in the entire league). Dunno where you're getting 11 from.

Again very similar to old-school Fowles, by the way. Considering the career Syl has had, the parallels there are only a positive for McCowan.

I would agree. Passing out of double-teams is a skill that can be learned, and even though it would be a stretch to say Fowles has mastered it, she's certainly a lot better than she was early in her career.

Thank you, Lynxmania, for taking the time and energy to put this together for us!

The end results are quite respectable; I think we did a good job as a whole with our votes here.
