This does not bode well for OSU which already has an extremely short bench- tweet from Nebraska’s radio guy, “Ohio State's Asia Doss, who has started every game this year, has come onto the @B1Gwbball Tourney floor in Indy with a protective boot on her right foot. Looks like she is out.”

OSU is doing fine without Doss. Rutgers is a mess - forced over the shoulder reverse layups, turnovers, etc.. 52-28 midway through 3Q.

Hubbard jumps a pass, gets fouled on the break and makes both free throws to take MN up 90-87.

Doyle has a reverse layup at the other end.

Wagner drives into a mess in the lane, loses the ball. No call. Iowa has 10.4 with the ball down 1 out of the timeout.

Iowa forces a last second shot. Minnesota wins 90-88!

Gustafson’s hands go to her face in disbelief. She finished with 48.

Why wasn’t Iowa allowed to advance the ball when they called that timeout with 10 seconds left? Additionally, if they weren’t then, when they were trying to inbound could they have?

Glad the Gophers won, otherwise that non-call would have been beyond terrible. How you don't call a foul when a player is literally tackled from behind, I don't know. Especially when it happens in the middle of the lane where all eyes are focused.

That’s not the only circumstance where the rule applies.

Five minutes left in MD v IU. Low scoring game now 54-46. Charles leads all scorers, but she’s also got 4 fouls.

IU with a rare 5 point play - Cahill gets knocked down while Buss hits a three. Cahill makes her free throws.

That was pretty cool. I'm not sure that I've ever seen that happen before.

According to those guidelines if advancing the ball was an option and it was not done, the fault would lie solely with Iowa's coach since it is the coaches responsibility to inform the refs of their desire to advance the ball. Without word from the coach, the ball is returned to the point where play was interupted.
