I pretty much thought she would. She's not done with a lot of things yet.

Is she graduating this year?

If do, she should take a graduate school transfer to Notre Dame, she could fill in for Turner while Turner's knee heals next year, get better coaching, be better utilized, and be surrounded by a better cast.

Would make all the sense in the world for both sides.

Of course it won't happen, but it would make perfect sense.

NO NOOOO...

Obviously, she needs to find some *middle ground*, like Oklahoma; there she could get the finishing-school touches she so desperately needs by working hard against someone actually TALLER than herself. Nancy Mulkey would give her great practice on all those Big Moves. And Sherri could give her all the glam culture she could handle--that's Big to so many of these young ladies nowadays. Cool

I could see how you'd want her in Notre Dame for her final year. Turner is kind of a wild card now with yet another injury. And her injury could keep her out of a large chunk of next season. Agreed when you said 'better coaching, better utilized and surrounded by a better cast'. Russell is talented but she's been wasted and not developed at all in Tennessee and therefore, hasn't learned the skills it takes to succeed in the WNBA. Of course, she's not going to transfer but she SHOULD transfer.

yeah, it would be a mistake for her to enter the WNBA early. Probably would've only been a late first round pick.
