87-83 Iowa final
Jankoska 31 pts, 11 reb, 3 ast, 2 stl
Didn't shoot too well but got to the FT a lot. Kinda like Whalen?
Whenever I make the comparison to Whalen, it never seems to work out at the next level.

She doesn't really remind me of Whalen so much. She actually seems to play off the ball a lot except in crunch time when she takes over. She's built strong and seems fearless. This wasn't her best game but she was getting doubled and manhandled quite a lot too. Not sure what to think of her prospects at the next level but she will get a look.

Iowa lost their starting pg for the season in their last outing MSU should have ran away with this game.

Excellent game between 2 Big Teams NOT named MD or OH. Competitive and well-coached with plenty of star power. I was glad to see Iowa get the win, in the interest of their Big Dance ticket.
I also like to see Disterhoff get some recognition for her stellar career: she's often overshadowed by some of the flashier Big Ten players, but she's been a right work-horse for Bluder, and set a lotta records along the way.

I was just reading on the Iowa board that Ally's 125 points away from the Iowa career number!
