A decent crowd here for possibly Tara's 1000th victory, but far from full at 6pm on a rainy Friday.

There's a high school band here filling in for the LSJUMB.

You guys don't drive in rain, right? Or is that only SoCal?

The game out of touch so now Roz gets to flather. She does have some nice stories about Tara. Tara does truly reach out to all former players, even the ancient ones.

The game was a bit of a routine beatdown of SC, but the ceremony afterward to honor Tara for 1000 wins was awesome, and most of the crowd stayed for it. Cardinal and white confetti, a special trophy for Tara from the Pac-12, a framed Vanderveer 1000 jersey from the players, video tributes from former players and associates, and commemorative Tara 1000 wins placards and pennants for the fans.

To top it off, the Band, Dollies, and Tree are back in business. They were playing outside as we left Maples.

A very fun evening!

I am glad I lucked out and got to attend the game.

Congrats to the Cardinal and Coach Vanderveer! Cool

A true milestone, and an indicator of both excellence and longevity.

Congrats to TV!
