Marquette is in control so far and leads Butler 44-25 at the half.

Erika Davenport had her BE leading 11th double-double of the season as Marquette won easily and got to play a lot of reserves in their 91-53 win today.

Marquette is in third in the BE now at 6-2 with Creighton at 2nd at 6-1 and DePaul in the lead with an 8-0 mark. Villanova held off St. John's today and they are tied for 4th and 5th at 4-3.

Marquette goes to DePaul next Saturday night - afraid that one might be ugly - would love to be wrong though Smile

Yeah it is kind of puzzling how their only BE win is over St. John's - I have a feeling the rematch is going to be an ugly win for the Red Storm.

Marquette's next home game is a weekday matinee against Seton Hall - sure hoping that's a blowout for MU. St. John's comes to town on Super Bowl Sunday - hoping I'm rushing home after that one to watch the Packers in the Super Bowl Smile.
