Texas goes down twice. Tennessee goes down. Duke moves out of the honorable mentions. Stanford goes down.

Kentucky, Missouri, Indiana, Washington, AzSt all lost as well. Some of those losses will obviously hurt more than others.

I didn't see the postgame quotes, but an 11pm game seems a bit much for an east coast team. Trapped. MSU seems to be in a rebuild with the graduation of Powers, so I'm not sure what they did to deserve #24. PSU seems more worthy at the moment

Don't forget the Nittany Lions 23-point loss to Drexel!

Woo hoo! I'm really hoping to see Marquette ranked come Monday - would be the first time in ages. Of course they need to take care of business in the tournament they are playing in this weekend.

Well never mind Sad. Marquette lost to,Santa Clara tonight - I don't think they will be ranked come Monday.

I think Arizona State and Oregon State are definitely going through some growing pains. Both teams lost a lot from last year.

That must be a heart-breaker. After beating two ranked teams, even if they were a bit over rated, losing to Santa Clara takes the wind out of your sails.

How did Marquette lose yesterday to a team that got shellacked by Montana State today? (The Bobcats beat the Broncos by 27 points.) Marquette must have really had an off-day. I would have liked to have seen them ranked...

They had a very poor shooting night. They mounted a furious comeback and got within two points with 17 seconds to go. But they had dug themselves too big a hole in this game. They did rebound to easily beat Pacific the next day but the Santa Clara game will definitely be considered a bad loss for them.
