Notre Dame a 5.5 point favorite. Several of Notre Dame's injured players should be back today. Patberg has recovered from her flu and is available. Mychal played only a few minutes last game, but Muffet said she'll be able to play more today. Only Westbeld is still iffy. Muffet is "hoping" she'll be able to go. Boley is going to be great, but there is no doubt that the team runs far better with Westbeld at the 4. She is just a better decision maker and passer than Erin.

Looks like a huge crowd there for today's game!
Syracuse came to play.

Funny how Cuse players with bad percentages from 3 are all of a sudden hitting them. Cooper has a bad percentage but shoots a ton of 3's. Shot selection not something they think about up at Cuse!

The seas parted for Allen at the end of the quarter but Cuse is lucky they missed.
Cuse shot over 70% from the field and is only up 6. Not sure how they can win unless they begin forcing a ton of turnovers because they aren't going to stay this hot.

Well there was a grade A flop by Peterson.
And how was that a charge by Young. Ridiculous

Johnson fell on Sykes because Sykes kicked her foot. How is that a foul on Johnson?

It's all variance. They emphasize getting the most out of their trips down the floor by firing up a lot of threes, crashing the glass, and forcing turnovers. That's forward-thinking stuff. Very sharp coaching staff up there imo.

I agree with all of that and I know Cuse has an assistant focus on that stuff but I mean they could still pass the ball a couple of times and get better shooters more shots. Sykes or Peterson shooting 18 threes, fine, but freshman Cooper who is like 25% from 3? I just think they could be a little more efficient without sacrificing too many more TO's.

Oh, probably. Shooting wasn't Cooper's strength in high school either. I saw her play a few times and thought she was better taking it to the hoop than settling for jumpers.

are the new version of sidearm stats working for others? When I click on the individual stats, it just comes up with a blank page. Everything else works.

Refs probably didn't see the kick. Johnson had made a really long step with her left foot. They probably just thought that she lost her balance and fell on Sykes.
How many people saw the kick live? I missed it until the replay close-up.
