I'm perfectly prepared to end this game with the last round: I'd rather not try to keep this up during tourneys anyway.

good job! boy, it's a good thing Howee didn't beat me or I'd never hear the end of it!

wait, let me find an excuse....well, I was tired out by the long season (Karen Aston), had too many injuries, too old to think straight, teams lost on purpose just to confound me, etc... That should cover it. So really I would have won if it hadn't been for the conspiracy against me! Plus I think these are really alternative facts. I really won by a huge margin! (perhaps even the biggest margin in history) I just need to find the right news outlet and block all the phoney fake news.

Given the recent events of historical/hysterical proportions in our country's political landscape, I decided to commission my own re-count. I began by reviewing my own picks from the last set of games, and discovered I had selected these winners:

DARNNN Twisted Evil My 'Alternative Fact' attempt has failed. Now, I have no idea of how I can cope with the concept that Myrtle might be my *equal* in this confounded contest.

*GIGANTIC* Congrats to linkster on the remarkable win, and to zvyn and matt, for their close finishes.

For the refreshments I promised, any of you (except Myrtle) may go to your nearest Applebees and ask for the drink of your choice, and tell 'em to put it on "Howee's" tab. Razz

Thanks also to Matt for 'finishing' what CardinalRule left dangling--LOL! I vote for Matt as the new head of the Tipping Game, '17-'18....what say ye?
