If Art is being quiet, you know ND must be losing. Smile

Not worth trying to have a rational discussion tonight; the board seems to be overrun by trolls tonight, as manifested in part by your post.

Pretty low, Shades. I thought posts weren't supposed to attack posters?

How is that an attack? It's an observation from the UConn game. Good-natured ribbing is how I thought it'd be taken. It's just a basketball game.

Who is the color announcer? She is very pro NC State. For example, she just stated that it wouldn't be an upset if the Wolfpack won. Really? It's one thing see the calls in a biased way, but to consider NC State the favorite is a little over the top.

I expect the Irish to play far better in the second half.

ND 3-9 from FT

ND with 34 points through 3 quarters. Worst production ever?

ND down 17 with 10 min left. Can NCSU pull off the upset?
I could see them choking, but maybe it's their night tonight.

I don't know them ever scoring at such a low rate.

Color commentator is an NC State grad, hence the bias.

NCST trying to not lose now. Using clock with 8:30 left is a stupid strategy. Why stop what worked for 3 periods? You burn the clock when you have a 20 point lead with 2 minutes left.

Unless the refs change the call.

Since when is replay used to review a foul call unless it's to review for a flagrant.

Was it over the back? I didn't see the contact.

Congrats NC State on the win. Very disappointed in the Irish performance. The Wolfpack really pushed them around, and the Irish needed to push back a lot harder.

Where were you sitting?

edit: sorry, but I watched B Jones get away with it the entire CT/MD game. Turner put her chest right into the back of the NCS player as she went up for the board. It was a move that gets called very unevenly game to game.

NCSU got beat up by KSU, barely got beat by LSU, and recently got beat by Tulane. Those are their only three losses.

Indiana was their best win before this one.

They've got FSU and Miami next, so it's not getting much easier for them.

All of State's losses have been on the road. They play poorly on the road, and in two of those losses they were up by double digits to start the 4th before falling apart, in part because coach used more subs. As he always has done, he tightened the rotation as ACC plays start.

They had a lot of close games last year that showed they can play with top 25 teams. They just couldn't close games.

Notre Dame shot poorly for much of the game, even shooting poorly from free throw line. State shot well enough and has a very veteran team that has played well when wnba scouts have been there.

Biggest upset in Reynolds in the program's history.
