It means the same as any other number.

Louisville needs to win the game by more than 0.5 pts. in order for them to win the bet. Any other result means the Terps win the bet. Very Happy

Some line movement. Per 5dimes I saw the following earlier today:

South Carolina favored by 10.5 (4.5 seemed way too low)

UConn favored by 27.5 over DePaul (was 25.5)

Louisville favored by 1 over Maryland (was .5)

Some other lines:

NC State favored by 4.5 over Indiana
Georgia Tech-Michigan is a pick-em
Virginia Tech favored by 9.5 over Nebraska

thanks. I've just been so busy but maybe a bit more time now. I expected it to look like -.5 but assumed it meant what you said. I had a very good first day though, only missing the OhSU game. It's interesting to look at them like these.
