And usually "routine surgeries" will not take you out for an entire season. It is quite strange.

I had an ovarian cyst removed in my early 20s and that would have taken me out for a whole season had I still been playing. Something like that or even more serious may not be something a young person wants to announce to the world. There are many kinds of surgeries that can effect you for a long time. The body really doesn't like to get chopped into. Respect her privacy.

Whatever happened to Rutgers and their recruiting? They were in the FF not that long ago and a fixture in the top 10, but now they seem to have disappeared. Are any of their starters returning now?

Myrtle, PLEASE. We've all seen your old team pic, and everybody knows there weren't such things as ovarian cysts that far back. In those days, you just got "the vapors", and laid down a lot.
