New wrinkle for South Carolina? I find it hard to believe she could play center but what do I know? Even point guard seems like a bit of a reach, but South Carolina needs to try some combinations since i think PG is a main spot that could use a boost. Great post game and now Gray and Davis a strong wing group.

Dawn Staley: Kaela Davis could play a variety of roles this season. They like her at 2-3, but she can play point, power forward or center.

USC will play a lot of opponents this season who will have rosters with centers that are 6-2 or smaller, or have guard-dominant teams. In those cases yes Davis as well as 6-2 Miki Herbert-Harrigan could play some minutes at the 5 spot. I seriously doubt though that either will spend much time at the position against the opponents who have established bigs of 6-4 or taller on the floor, unless they have to be there, which I hope happens very little. We may still let Davis and/or Harrigan play minutes in those games when those bigs also come off the floor for rest, to give Coates and Wilson some rest as well...
IMO PG should be fine for us this season: USC will have three PGs on it's roster that were 5* rated and top-10 PGs in their respective classes per ESPN. I doubt seriously USC has ever had that type of depth at the position before. Plus USC will also have a returning veteran PG in Tiffany Davis, who hasn't got a ton of court time during her career due to several injuries, but who has been described by her coaches as almost a player-coach on the team...
