Victoria was a junior on the women’s basketball team at Oak Ridge High School. She was a guard, but she had not scored a single point during her high school basketball career. She had not made a single offensive rebound or a single assist. She had never even dribbled a basketball past half-court.

This was actually a concern, even though during the entire history of girls’ high school basketball in Tennessee no one had ever seen a uterus lying on a basketball court.

The snark is strong with this one.

Plus it's a cool article.

That was a great article. I do post "Quote of the Day" on my Facebook - I took this from William Haltom,

"This was actually a concern, even though during the entire history of girls’ high school basketball in Tennessee no one had ever seen a uterus lying on a basketball court."

That made me smile so fast.

The only time that I saw fell out of girls shorts at any basketball game was at a regional tournament of the deaf in Staunton, Virginia. Mississippi and Alabama were playing against each other in the semifinals of Mason-Dixon Tournament.

Suddenly, the referees stopped the game. There was blood stained pad lying inside the paint on the court. No one came forward to pick it up, prompting the school superintendent to walk over and pick it up.
