Sad Sad Sad Sad Sad Sad

She had a nice 5 part post on her twitter feed, however no explanations.

Looks like she will still be enrolled and graduate at Stanford just no longer part of the WBB squad.

Leaves quite a void, but with some talented guard recruits (Anna Wilson and Carrington) this is an excellent opportunity.

Stanford, of course, still returns Erica McCall (15 ppg last season), Kaylee Johnson and Alanna Smith in the paint as well as the likes of Karlie Samuelson, Bri Roberson, Marta Sniezek, Britt McPhee on the perimeter

She'll also remain on her athletic scholarship, yet not be on the team.

Mysterious, indeed.

She's still on scholarship. She could be moving to a non-athletic scholarship or to an injury, no longer playing, scholarship. Not necessarily an athletic scholarship.

Stanford's CARD Message Board is speculating that she may use her final year of eligibility next season at another school, as a graduate student.

A bit sad....she was pretty amazing, at times, and certainly deserving of her accolades. Hope she's okay.
