Here is my Pat Summitt story. Pulled into the Clackamas Community college for my daughter's AAU game at the Oregon Trails tournament. In the car next to me out pops Pat Summitt. I said "hello coach", then said in jest, "I'm sure you're here to scout my daughter Hannah St.... right"? Side note: my daughter ended up playing at Utah, but was never on Tenn.'s radar.
Without missing a beat, Pat smiled and replied in her Southern drawl, "you know I am, you know I am!"
She will be missed.

Me too. Robin very rarely loses it but she did at the end of this one and was itching to get off the set.

Such an inspiration to so many in so many ways. Meeting her was a bucket list of mine and got to share some pizza with her and a few others back in 11.
RIP and may her family be able to find some peace and comfort in their memories. |

| 47 percent of her games were against RANKED opponents. If that number doesn't sum up what Pat was about nothing will.

A great reminder of all she has done and where she has come from. This one needs to be shown on tv again, just to remind folks of what she was all about. I feel so bad for her family and her players past and present. ANYONE who is a women's basketball fan is sad today. #RIP Pat
