The 62-year-old Auriemma, who has led the Huskies to 11 national championships, was taken to an area hospital for observation. UConn said Auriemma hadn't been feeling well for a few days, but was resting comfortably at the hospital.

He seemed a bit out of it during the draft. Seemed to be slurring his words and such. Hoping its nothing serious and he gets better soon.

I'm sure he's been stressed to the max. Hopes and prayers for a quick recovery from whatever the hell it is!

That doesn't sound good. I hope it's nothing.

That was a pretty long stay for 'fatique'. Hope he's ok.

Healthy Geno Laughs At Reports He Was Headed To The NBA

"Did I miss some pretty good stuff?" Auriemma said Wednesday.

Considering you were named the coach of three NBA teams, retired, died and resurrected since you won your 11th national title a few weeks back, yes, you missed some excellent stuff.

I know sports columns are not genuine journalism, but this is embarrassing to read. It's fanfiction. Rolling Eyes

Especially considering the history these guys have. A column like this by Jacobs re: Geno was unthinkable not too long ago.

Eh, things change.

Fanfiction's way more dramatic.
