Macy from _____? And why did Christinaki quit?

We'll find out about Audrey-Ann Caron-Goudreau soon, but quite honestly, it was a replay of what I saw when Kayla Cooper-Williams of JMU went down with an ACL earlier this year. It would not surprise me.

Yeesh. Sux for her, but.....at least she's got a twin on the bench.

Audrey-Ann is by far the better player, IMNSHO, but they are a package deal. I really hope it isn't an ACL, but it looked bad.

Texas probably recruited the one twin to lure the better twin over.

This makes no sense. She'd have the reigns next season after Siera Thompson graduates. It looks like Gondrezick will have to run the point instead. Hopefully Michigan's staff can find a late season signee or a grad transfer to fill the PG hole.

I somehow think schools *generally* DON'T recruit the lesser of 2 sisters in the hopes of getting the better one. For example, I think the Paris twins (while both were DI-quality) went to Oklahoma because Coale recruited Courtney AND could make room for Ashley, too.

It depends if you are Walz or McGuff, you would recruit the whole family, the neighbors, the friends, the housecleaner, the gardener....

Which is most likely what happened with the Caron-Goudreau twins. I suspect it went like this, "If you take me, you need to take my twin.....I don't go anywhere without her."

OTOH, Tennessee had a different "twin situation" with Nia Moore. Her twin, not quite as talented as Nia, went to UAB, but when injury forced her to quit basketball she transferred to Tennessee, and the Lady Vols made room for her as a manager.

And speaking of the Caron-Goudreau pair, is there an update on Audrey-Ann?

Stanford just got commitments from two sisters, one of which is definitely the 'lesser' though still a player. Yet to know if she will get more time on the floor than Kelsey Mitchell's sister for instance.

Absolute shame about Macy, love her game - she is one of the hidden gems of the game.

Didn't Tenn offer Hayes' two younger sisters, one of whom was an 8th grader?

St. John's tried that play with Elon Sidney to get her older sister(s?) It didn't work, but none of them panned out anyway.

Holly Johnson transferred to UND after completing her eligibility at NDSU. Sounds
Like she was injured this season(she was also injured at SUnand granted an extra year).

Iowa State’s Aliyah Konate, a 6-foot-4 freshman from Germany, won’t continue her basketball career in Ames due to persistent back problems that kept her out of the first 10 contests this season.

Jayde Woods has left the Oregon program, per Kelly Graves this afternoon...I wondered how long he could keep his magnificent 7 Freshman class together/happy.

Senior F Da'Lishia Griffin has left the James Madison program. She had been suspended for 2 games and left after a meeting on Thursday with Coach O'Regan. No other details are available. She will be missed, but with the emergence of Tasia Butler and Amber Porter, not as much as she might have been last year.

Also, sophomore F Savannah Felgemacher sat out several games this month with some kind of knee problem and reappeared today in a knee brace. She is still obviously not at full strength or speed.

Now why would anyone want to do a thing like that?
