What were Corsaro's other top schools?

According to the Indy Star, Corsaro had offers from Indiana, Dayton, Iowa and Iowa State at the time she committed to UK. However, she had committed as a sophomore in high school in May 2014, so had she waited a bit it's unquestioned she would have gotten a ton more offers from the major programs, being a 5* and McD AA. She only took one of her allotted 5 official visits, and that was to Kentucky on a weekend, and then she committed early the following week....

According to her father she hasn't totally ruled UK out: she's just stepping back and reviewing her options, and will take more OVs....

Sofia Roma is headed to Duke as a transfer from Wagner. Roma played for the Puerto Rico National Team in the 2015 Pan Am Games and led the NEC in rebounding last year at 10 RPG.

Schaquilla Nunn picked Tennessee as her destination after graduating from Winthrop. Nunn averaged 14 ppg, 11 rpg, and over 3 bpg in 2014-2015.

Interesting pick-up for Lady Vol Nation.

I think she's a grad transfer, probably going for the academic perks.

Should've seen it coming for Harvey-Carr- she dropped off the face of the earth this year after being high rotation earlier. She's from Camden, so I imagine both NJ and Philly schools will be in her mix if she wants to play closer to home. (But the BEast has rules about intra-conference transfer.)

I'll bet she does well there. Ford was pretty clearly the most athletic player the RedHawks had this season, but didn't get many minutes. She was a holdover from the previous coaching staff, so there's that.

Well, God bless her! (I haven't been following the coaching thread....has JPM been fired yet??)

Also....do grad students get scholarship $$$, or is that strictly for undergrads?

YAASSSSSS!

Not surprised though, saw earlier this week she recently followed Chris Dailey, Marisa Moseley, and UConn Women's Basketball on Twitter.

Grad students can get a scholarship (or keep their scholarship at the same school), if the team has scholarships available, and the student-athlete has eligibility. Simple answer is yes, but there are some other things that go into it as well.

Thanks. I never really thought much about that situation.

She is a conventional transfer, assuming that she will not manage to graduate in two years.

Academic perks still apply. Presumably she could have a long pro career in Puerto Rico.

Who implied that? Threeball is a UConn fan, and he didn't say anything that suggested that anyway. I'm assuming that Azura chose UConn based on the coaching she'll receive there, the great chance at one or more National Championship(s), and the the fact that UConn isn't in the ACC, so she has more liberal transfer rules.

Taylor Johnson (Loyola-Chi) to Louisville.

Brandi Harvey-Carr from DePaul to Pitt.

Lastly, Elemy Colome from JMU to Rhode Island. (I'm not sure she even stayed on the team second semester. I know she didn't play but i don't know the circumstances; possibly she was academically ineligible? Her picture remained in the programs but i don't know whether she was even in school.)
