Danielle Burns of Fordham sunk the Colonials inside track to an outright conference title by torching them for 31/7. Fordham beat the Colonials despite only playing six players. Granted, the absence of Jonquel Jones is a huge loss for the Colonials--but it seems that we are in for an exciting finish in the A-10 now.

To throw in some more fun in the A-10 today, the second-placed Bonnies went and got upset by VCU--although when you consider that the Bonnies have never beaten the Rams in four tries, this isn't much of an upset.

Duquesne scored with 6.6 seconds remaining in regulation in order to force overtime against UMass--and they barely held on to win and catch up to GW in the standings. Absolutely ludicrous.

The interesting thing to see will be where these teams stand in terms of being able to get an At-Large bid--they certainly can't afford to be losing to the Fordhams and the VCU's of the world if they want to be a dancing come March.

Yeah, the Fordham loss is not good as they were #185 in the RPI heading into the game. That and a loss to #108 RPI Wright St certainly don't help GW's resume.

St. Bonaventure had no bad losses until last night as VCU was #110 in the RPI. Maybe that win will boost them into the Top 100 so the loss won't be as bad. They also don't have a lot of great wins as they have played a schedule rated the 119th strongest.

It will be interesting to see how this all shakes out for sure.

St. Bonaventure with a bad loss today to UMass 69-60. It was UMass' first win in conference play (1-11).
