Anyone have a running tally? My impression is that Mitchell has driven off more players and assistant coaches from KY over the past three or four years than McCallie has from Duke.

Is that impression correct or does McCallie have the lead?

Mitchell has lost six players this year & nine in his previous eight years. I'm not sure how you can determine if an assistant coach was run off. I only know of a couple who's contracts were not renewed.

What is McCallie's tally?

I just wonder if she might be the next HC if Mitchell resigns or is fired.

Vandy: rumble rumble rumble

Well if this went down the timing would be really odd given that Vandy's season has been over for a long time and they weren't even in the tournament. Why wait this long to make a move?

Only one question: what took them so long?
I always said her best teams wore an X.

Probably took this long cause they wanted to clear up the men's coaching position (the HC left for Pitt) before tackling the women's program.

Dang. Balcomb had a looong run there. I've never heard "bad" things about her as a coach, and she certainly had her Bright Spots. But. A school like Vandy in a conference like the SEC isn't gonna tolerate mediocrity.

In her Dishin' n' Swishin' podcast, she came off as burnt out and bitter to me. Maybe a change is what she needs - sometimes that goes both ways.

She's always reminded me of Rosie O'Donnell on a bad day. And that's saying a lot.

Don't know what makes you think that. They've tolerated mediocrity for at least a dozen of her fourteen years there.

Not off campus but I think if a player is on campus they can recruit, like take them on a tour or whatever.

If Colorado does not add another Assistant Coach I believe she could if the Head Coach wants her to be one of the off campus recruiters.
