Mississippi State did so while playing the weakest schedule in the country. They played Texas next which I predict will be a wake-up call.

I don't get how voters can rank them in the top 10. All I haven't lost anybody that's true of lots of teams. In fact every one of those teams on the list played a tougher schedule. For example Seton Hall actually played some teams why aren't they ranked higher?

I believe they started 0-3. Looks like maybe it should be the other USD - San Diego.

That seems about right. San Diego, unbeaten with wins over Arizona and Montana State as the biggest achievements.

Buffalo is no longer undefeated. They now stand at 6-1, after being embarrassed in a 36-79 loss to Hofstra. HU went on a 23-0 run to end the game, and held the Bulls scoreless for the last 8:23 of the game.

New Mexico State lost last night, 68-64, to Arizona in Tucson after leading 13-0, 23-7 and as late as 58-53. Arizona took a 64-61 lead but NMSU's Sasha Weber hit a long 3 with the shot clock running out to tie it. Arizona scored and NMSU bungled a set coming out of a time out and didn't get another shot a tying or winning basket.

Close a game as it could be.

Most fun of all, though, was listening to Arizona's announcer on the Pac-12 Network. Apparently, Arizona, which shot 25 free throws to the Aggies 11, was getting screwed throughout by the officials. Apparently the tying shot late by Weber was a "bailout" not a skilled effort by a player with 212 career threes (only 12 current D1 players have made more).

My guess is that sometimes these web announcers don't get the idea that opponent's fans are watching as well as their own. Plus some are radio simulcasts and the announcers forget we can SEE the girl knocked to the hardwood by your player's "ridiculous call of a touch foul". Very Happy

Drake lost, despite the presence of Lizzy Wendell. Sad days.
