it might be worth a mention.

Congratulations to Northern Iowa for knocking off #1 North Carolina 71-67.

They were trailing 50-34 and went on a 29-8 run over a 12 minute stretch of the second half.

I'm guessing that's the biggest win in program history.

UNI is actually a pretty good team, and UNC was missing their star Page.

I'm more shocked that South Carolina lost to the Citadel at Football.

9 seed Northern Iowa beat #1 seed Kansas in the NCAA tournament a few years back. I would think that is the best win, only because of the magnitude of a NCAA tournament upset.

so so so much more parity on the men's side. At least partially because the top players go off to the NBA as Frosh or Sophs so the big teams have to continually reload.

It's the parity of mediocrity cth was talking about in another thread. None of the teams are especially good, thus parity.
