South Carolina played like crap......I'm not really sure how big of a negative impact playing in tiny Jervey Gym was for the Gamecocks - I've seen middling high school gyms that are bigger - but IMO that's not a credible excuse anyways.

The team came out lackluster against a struggling in-state rival that they should have rolled. They beat CU 99-41 last season in the CLA, and CU may have been in worse shape tonight than that team due to graduations and missing some players for tonight's game. Really only Mitchell played like she was expected to, going 6-12 plus 4-7 from the 3-pt. line and scoring 18 pts with 5 rebounds and 4 steals. The rest of the team left their games on the team bus....

We better leave this effort level in Jervey Gym, and bring something better to Pauley Pav. For Sunday, or we'll get beat by 30 pts....
