anyone else thinking this game is gonna be a typical SEC "defensive" struggle?

Vivians still shooting well from last night.

Turnovers killing Miss State right now, tho.

Each time I watch Mississppi State, I feel like I'm watching the second coming of Temeka Johnson.

This game is going to be hard to watch. I love watching SC play but I am a little nervous about this one. Long way to go so I hope SC can pull it out. They had better guard Vivans with EVERYTHING they've got!

Sessions has been more aggressive on the offensive end than I have seen from her before.

Sessions with 10 pts in the 1st half for the 2nd straight game, when she hadn't averaged 10 ppg all season. She's stepped up huge in the tournament, and is scoring like she knows what it's all about. For quite a long while I doubted if she did....

Miss State with 12 1st-half turnovers: USC harassed UK into 19 TOs in yesterday's game. They have really turned up the defense with Mitchell, Sessions, and Cuevas swarming all over the opposing guards....

Bulldogs are trying to beat the Gamecocks with a one-player team, offensively. That's awfully hard to do....

less a great defensive play by williams than a bonehead play (again) by Cuevas.

I watched the 1st period of the SC/MSST game yesterday while visiting some friends who hardly watch wbb (or even men's). Half way through the period they asked me why ESPN was showing a game where neither team seemed to be able to make a basket. When I told them that it was the conference final and that SC was the 2nd or 3rd best team in the country they thought I was lying to them.
