Pretty suprised Imani Boyette (ne McGee- Stafford) didn't make all conference (who is Zahna Medley, by the way? Is she really better than Boyette or Ariel Atkins?)

Also somewhat surprised Higgs was FOY over Kalani Brown and Beatrice Mompremier, or even over her teammate Jordan Hosey.

I expect Baylor is going to roll to another league title.

I think that Oklahoma and Texas could really challenge Baylor this year. Both teams are pretty deep, and Texas has a lot of legitimate size.

I have no doubt this will bear itself out, come end-o-season stats, but this will always strike me as ODD. Razz If ever a player OVER-achieved in collegiate basketball, it's her. But....she's Baylor's anchor; l just can't wait to see IF she can play at the next level.

I really see TX as the team who can take the crown from Baylor this year, but....I thought that last year, too, and between their injuries and Kim's craftiness, it never happened.

Goo, Big 12! Cool

Well, Nina Davis is a *faux* big....she plays the 4 spot. But. She's not "big".

I wonder about where she fits in the WNBA. She has wealth of athleticism, a motor that does not quit, and a high basketball iq. I don't doubt that she would make a roster, but what position would she play? As far as we have seen to this point, she does not seem to have much of an outside game.

I think a big question will be whether she can defend WNBA small forwards on the perimeter. If so, she's a matchup nightmare. If not, she's going to struggle with the strength and size of WNBA inside players.

Her defense will definitely be the thing to watch over the next two years. Right now she reminds me of a taller version of Armintie Price.

Ummm....which Armintie do YOU have in mind? Nina's a rebounder extraordinaire, a scorer--NOT a speed-demon ball-handler. I'm not getting that one.... Shocked

Sooo, what you're hoping for is for Oklahoma to find a way to stop Nina's engine for a game or three and snatch that title back?
