Is the reason the 2016 Women's Final Four logo hasn't been released yet(at least not that I have seen) is because the FF might get moved from Indy? Has anyone seen it or in the know about what is going on with the WFF next year?

We can only hope.

When they announced next year's location during the final this year, it was booed.

To be honest, even without the legislative machinations, I wasn't that thrilled about going back to Indy. I feel like I saw everything worth seeing the first time I went there.

I don't see any way the NCAA can move it out of Indy until the NCAA itself moves out. And I don't see that happening after they came out OK with what the idiot gov. called a fix.

To all of the people that are saying that they won't come because it's in Indy and they won't spend their money there, I just shake my head at such narrow-mindedness.

I was reading some comments on the NCAA Facebook page the other day. Wow. Rolling Eyes These people have an opportunity to do something to help the businesses that WILL serve everyone (there are stickers on the doors of lots of businesses that state they serve everyone), but they can't get past their hate of a few people to do so.

They don't have to go and buy stuff at each place, just go in and say "thank you." Instead, they will sit at home and wallow in their intolerance, hurting the people/businesses that agree with them and support them. I just don't understand.

I understand BEKs thought about having seen everything. What about taking the middle day and volunteering?

The NCAA signed off on the amendment. They aren't going anywhere.

You know what would be great? If someone (say a local LGBT group) compiled a list of inclusive shops, restaurants, bars, etc. that could be made available by the NCAA or others to visitors. (My idea would be that anyone could be on the list provided you signed a pledge to be inclusive.) Given the crowd that comes to the WFF, I'd bet it would affect who got business.

That's not limited to Indianapolis. They could do that for every major NCAA event, evety sport, men's and women's.

Should certainly do it for WNBA venues too.

That kind of list would actually get me to reconsider going to Indy... as I'm seriously thinking of skipping (both the politics and the "been there, done that" nature of the area).

At least Tampa has many other things to do within one hours drive!

Just saw on Twitter that the logo will be released on June 20th. That is super late. The men's 2016 FF logo was released in November, 2014.
