Last year, the schedule included Tennessee and North Carolina (both top 15), plus LSU, the top ARV team in the pre-season AP poll, but also Wagner, Davidson, Northeastern, Colgate and Iona. Hence my comment - there was a lot of soft underbelly there. |
What's an ARV team? |
Sorry - "also receiving votes," the teams that are not in the top 25 but got some votes. LSU started last year at the top of that list, so "ranked" 26th. |
Thanks!

Not sure all the game possibilities at the Tournies, buut definitely one of Toledo's most difficult schedules in years. Would like to make that ND game.

Hofstra announced their schedule today, it's not bad for a mid-major. Should be an exciting season this year, as the team had no seniors last year, and managed to make it to the conference championship game, and beat JMU (then ranked #23, in Virginia). The team features two top 100 recruits, Darius Faulk is number 61 in the class of 2012, and Ashunae Durant is 75 in the class of 2015, plus there are several other highly ranked 4 star players.

Not sure, but they did just announce that the tournament will be held in Chicago again this season. I bet it will come out in the next few days.

I saw that and hoped it meant the schedule had been announced but no such luck. They announced the men's schedule earlier this week so hopefully the women's one is coming soon.

Somehow we missed the Big East schedule coming out. The page design is utterly asinine, because apparently all things that I love are doomed to crappy web design.
http://www.bigeast.com/calendar.aspx?path=wbball&season=2014-15&
Right now, my big dilemma is Senior Day. Seton Hall already planned to move their game back to later in the day, but now the STJ finale is on FS2, which means a 3PM tip. AAAAARGH.
(Well, okay, in a meta sense my big dilemma is the damn buddy system that means St. John's and Seton Hall are always playing on the same day.)

That is indeed a crummy page design. It gave me a headache trying to read it and I quit. My sympathies to you.
