Cuse up 12-6 with 4:54 left in the 1st quarter, but their center Day just got her 2nd foul. Louisville already +3 on the boards, Cuse could be in big trouble here.

Cuse up 21-14 with 1:19 in the 1st to go. Peterson looking like a running back going straight up the middle for layups with no resistance.

Every guard on Cuse has a Kelsey Mitchell like green light from deep. They are 2-12 from 3 but it doesn't matter because they keep getting boards.

Cuse up 26-14 and at the line for a FT.

Louisville won by 18 @ Cuse in the regular season, so they have played well vs. this press before.

Louisville has to feel pretty fortunate to only be down 6 at half given how bad they've played and how Cuse has really given them problems defensively. Jackson's 3 at the buzzer was huge for momentum.

Cuse up 2 with 2:25 left in the 3rd. Durr is having a huge game off the bench.

Well, here comes Louisville! 62-61 almost at the end of the 3rd and Cuse in some foul trouble.

Anyone notice that all four of the ACC semi final teams are former Big East teams?

Maybe they should say farewell to tobacco road and hold the tourney at the XL?

God, that was embarrassing for Sykes.

Cuse is in trouble foul wise. Already have 6 fouls, UL shooting FT's the rest of the way. UL only has 1 foul. Day, Peterson, and Butler all with 4 fouls. Hines-Allen the only one with 4 for UL.

UL up 1, 3:48 to go.

Day has fouled out. Cuse now down 3 with UL at the line for 1.

Funny but I don't see Durr stomping and strutting arround after she picked up an unforced traveling call. Rolling Eyes

They should make that an intentional foul rule IMO. Hugging a player just standing there before the ball is even thrown in?

They have to change the rule to make fouls away from the ball in the last minute intentional fouls. Especially dead ball fouls.

Huge FT's by Fondren, who Louisville intentionally fouled away from the ball.

I don't like the rule that you can intentionally foul away from the ball but oh well. Deny the good FT shooters and make them pass to the bad shooter.

I'm not sure why the current rules don't cover it. It obviously is not a play on the ball, and the clock is stopped. Why isn't it a dead ball technical?

But obviously it's not because it happens all the time. You're right. They need to make it a 2 shot and the ball foul.

Best response is for the hand picked target to make both. A real f you response.

Cuse wins it, 80-75.

Syracuse may get to play at home. And the Carrier is a tough venue. Tough sight lines for shooters.

Impressive win by Cuse but tomorrow shall be interesting because on paper Notre Dame is not the team you want to play 2-3 zone against because they can shoot threes so well.
