ND was flying to OKC during this storm. They had to land in Lawton and are now being bussed to the hotel.

Well I am glad they were able to land safely. Im from Lawton so I know the airport they flew into is probably the smallest airport they have ever seen lol.

They waited over three hours for busses to come pick them up. They evidently ordered every pizza available in Lawton. The Director of Sports Nutrition is traveling with the team and tweeted " Stranded in OK @ndwbb First time I've ever HAD to feed a team pizza! It's calories or bust!"

"We're all safe and sound and everyone's in good spirits. We're just trying to adjust on the fly, finding a way to feed everyone and get our buses down here to take us back to Oklahoma City," said Irish coach Muffet McGraw. "We're more concerned about all those families and residents affected by the tornadoes throughout the plains, particularly in Oklahoma. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of them right now."
