I'm always a fan of using some random statistic - free throw percentage (or, even better, opponents' free throw percentage) to see how it does.

And I will, once again, enter the Mascot Bracket to see how low it will finish.

If that doesn't get you there, the group name is Fun Brackets. My good friend zeusaphone assisted me with the setup, since I could only put in 10 brackets under my own handle.

Thanks. I never pay attention to these bracket things and should have realized you were talking about multiple entries, but they do show up under that link.

This is a good empirical check on the various ranking/rating systems. How long have you been doing this, and which system has the most "championships"?

Too bad you can't enter the SelComm's S curve, assuming anyone knows it.

I have been doing this since 2004. Massey has won four times and Sagarin three. Moore, RPI, Reid (no longer rating) and the Polls have each won once.

None of them had Dayton either. It was all Louisville or South Florida.
