Going into Thursdays game so many things were up in the air, now after 2 days a couple more seeds have been locked up. And seed ranges have been narrowed down.
Locked up seeds:
1 - Oregon State
5 - Washington
6 - UCLA
Potential Seeds:
Arizona State can be a 2 or 3
Stanford can be a 2-4
California can be a 2-4
USC can 7 or 8
Washington State can be a 7 or 8
Oregon 9 or 10
Colorado 9 or 10
Utah 11 or 12
Arizona 11 or 12
Possible scenarios:
Arizona State wins and they get the 2 seed
If Arizona State and California tie California wins the tie breaker (due to win over Oregon State)
If there is a 3 way tie with Arizona State, California and Stanford, Arizona State gets the 2 seed, California gets the 3 seed and Stanford gets the 4 seed
If Stanford wins and California loses Stanford can get the 3 seed via better record than California or losing tie breaker to Arizona State
USC plays Washington State on Saturday, winner gets the 7 seed
If Colorado and Oregon tie, Colorado would be the 9 seed, if one team wins and the other team loses the winner would be the 9 seed
Utah plays Arizona on Sunday, winner gets the 11 seed
Here are the final games of the Pac-12 Regular Season:
Saturday:
UCLA @ Washington 1pm
California at Oregon State 3pm
USC vs Washington State 3pm
Sunday:
Colorado @ Arizona State 1pm
Stanford @ Oregon 1pm
Utah @ Arizona 2pm

If both California and Stanford win, California would be the 3 seed because of their win over Arizona State, since they split and both would have beat Oregon State. If both California and Stanford lose, Stanford would be the 3 seed because of their win over Oregon State.

Thanks. This should be the best Pac 12 Tournament ever and the best of any of the conference tournaments this year. Unlike the other conferences there is no clear favorite. Cal may have the most talent but they have the least depth, generally using a 6 player rotation. Playing three games in three days could take a toll on the Bears.
Stanford played its best game since beating UConn when they handled Oregon St Thursday. The emergence of Brittany McPhee adds one more cog in the Stanford machine. Even if they go in as the third or fourth seed, the Cardinal look like the best team right now.
Arizona St has the most depth. The Sun Devils also had the toughest Pac 12 schedule. But recent form (a 2OT win vs, USC and a 4 point win over Utah) indicates that the Pac 12 surprise may be tiring down the stretch.
Oregon St has been the best defensive team in the Pac 12, holding all but 7 teams to 40% or less from the field (including all three losses). Ruth Hamblin is one of the favorites for Player of the Year and Wiese and Wiesner are the best pair of three point shooters on any team. But Oregon St also had the luck of the draw by not having to go the Bay Area.
Add in host Washington who beat both Cal and Oregon St at home and 2014 winner USC as lomgshots. This should be a great weeekend of women's basketball

You're welcome SueFavor and Calbearman76!
And I agree, I think this tournament will be fun to watch, none of the top 4 seeds are unbeatable, and if a team like Washington, UCLA or USC can get some momentum they could pull of an upset or 2. And even teams like Oregon, Utah and Arizona who have proven that can stay with and even beat the "higher" teams in the Pac-12. I'm interested in seeing how these last 2 days finish out and watch the Pac-12 Tournament unfold.

USC played the last 2 games without Alexyz Vaioletama (out with injury) and Kristen Simon (not sure why she missed). Without those 2 players I think it will be very difficult for USC to repeat. Alexyz is the leading scorer and in my opinion the best overall player on the team, her never give up attitude, I think is a key component to what makes this team go, and Kristen has been the first player or the first post off the bench most of the season, she brings a physical presence in the paint and her ability to score and rebound is big for USC of the bench.

Based on what happened in the regular season, it looks like UCLA and Colorado got the most favorable match-ups. The Bruins crushed Arizona in their only meeting and, while Colorado handled WSU by 21 at home and lost to them narrowly on the road.
Edit: Oops! it looks like we have Oregon and Colorado flipped. Colorado will be #9 and play USC according to the P12 site.

Vaioletama out with a concussion. Not sure of status.
Simon didnt make the trip due to violation of team rules. Not sure of status.
Both of the above were mentioned on the game vs Washington on Thursday.

That's correct, I marked it down as Oregon winning the tie breaker, not Colorado. Colorado is the 9 seed and Oregon is the 10 seed, I have updated the posts above.

Who do you all favor for FOY?
Kaylee Johnson vs. Jordin Canada seems to be the battle.
POY?
I'd go with somebody from Oregon State. Maybe they can all be co-players of the year?
Promise Amukamara has been fantastic for State, though.
I mean, if you really wanted to you could give it to Tess Picknell out of Stanford, but I'm guessing my homerism only goes so far.

POY really is up in the air. I think Hamblin just because OSU has been the best team and without her, they def. wouldn't be... But I think Boyd may be best overall and she has that senior thing going. Also really like Plum.
For Frosh, yes, I think it's between Johnson and Canada and maybe Cowling. Slight edge to Canada I think.

Maybe this has been mentioned in a different thread and I just missed it, but it's Canada.
Huge congrats to Jordin!

It's interesting to me that 13 different Pac-12 players have been selected as POWs over the course of the season, yet not one of those 13 POWs was ultimately named POY… that went to Reshanda Gray (a woman who'd not once been named POW this season). I wonder if that's ever happened before.
