| Purdue has the best incoming recruiting class in the Big 10. They are going to have a lot of pressure to contribute early because Purdue is already towards the bottom of their league and losing key players.

| Purdue had a chance to win but missed a shot and then just had to foul. MSU had reasons to finish at the bottom of the standings with their injuries and transfer but they really overachieved this year. On the other hand some traditional top teams like Purdue and Penn State should have been better

What a finish! Up 1, Jankoska goes to the line and makes both of a 1-1 w/ 21 secs left to go up 3.
She then gets a steal and goes the distance for a layup w/ 11 secs to put MSU up 5 and seal the win.
She led all scorers w/ 26.

| Purdue is the first ever #14 seed at the Big Ten Tournament. I don't think anyone would've predicted that.

It depends on the service, but if you look at ESPN's, six of the B1G teams are in their top 20: 8 Purdue, 10 Nebraska, 12 Maryland, 13 Penn State, 16 Michigan and 18 Iowa.
There's not a lot of room for improvement for Purdue when others are recruiting just as well and are above them in the standings.
