This may have been answered before so forgive me if I am redundant. How many former players/assistant coaches at UT have gone on to win a National Championship as a head coach in D1 women's basketball?

The pedigree of UT coaches was visited a few times during the LSU/Tenn game for good reason. I was just curious how successful the pedigree really is...

Did Hatchell ever play at UT? She got her Masters there and spent one year as JV coach. Does that actually make her part of a "tree"?

She did not play there, I think she went to Carson Newman. There have been stories how Hatchell worked for Summitt as the JV coach. I wonder what the UTK media guide says.

edit: the media guide lists her as a grad assistant
