Just based on name recognition, that's a pretty good pickup.

To me, that suggests Jody Adams is headed to Kansas, or at least made it clear to her team that she wants to be headed to Kansas.

That was my first thought as soon as I read that. Seems as though a "Jody Adams to Kansas" announcement is close at hand.

Shocker fans seem to want Adams out of Wichita. The feeling seems to be that these players are through with Adams and may not be the last to leave.

If they want her out, they must long for the days of being irrelevant.

One doesn't necessarily have anything to do with the other but where there are apparently seriously problems, the fan base strongly sides with the players. You can look at Oregon State which rebounded from one of the most abusive coaches in memory to the top of Pac in only four to five years with a coaching change.

Bill Fennelly loses another point guard.

http://m.amestrib.com/sports/women-s-basketball-isu-s-bell-transfer

A sophomore-to-be out of St. Louis, Bell follows graduating Senior Nikki Moody out of the program. Cyclones have Junior Jadda Buckley, didn't play much after December due to injury, to run the point.

Transfer Rumors in play:

Baylor fans suspect a transfer or maybe two: MiCayla Buckner and/or Ieshia Small are being tossed about. THere are like 17 players on Baylor
s 15-16 roster.

Tennessee Fans wondering if they'll see transfers. Kortney Dunbar's name was tossed about.

And supposedly, Louisville Senior Megan Deines was checking out Manhattan Kansas this past weekend. WIldcats recruited her extensively out of high school.

Kortney Dunbar has taken to twitter within the last couple of hours to dispel the rumors of her potential transfer from Tennessee.

I'm thinking she'll see a lot more time next year, if she's staying.

Do you really think so? Tennessee lost Burdick, Harrison and Massengale to graduation, so the only perimeter minutes that open up next year are Ariel's. Can Dunbar guard 1's and 2's? If not, then she's pretty much a 3, which puts her in competition with DeShields, Nared, and freshman Meme Jackson, right? Diamond could play the 2, and probably so could Nared and Jackson, but that would leave few minutes for other guards like Cooper, Middleton, Reynolds, and Tucker. Barring injuries, I cannot see Dunbar seeing much game time. Where do you see her fitting in?

Dunbar is a big girl (6'1 and muscular) and I think they have been working with her on some inside play so I suspect she will be coming off the bench there. I don't expect Jackson to start next year, she'll have to work her way in just like all freshmen. I think Holly is looking at Dunbar as a versatile bench player.

Alexus Malone, 6'0 forward, has transferred from Buffalo to LA Tech. She'll sit out next season per NCAA rules and have 2 seasons left to play. Coach Tyler Summitt also signed 5'10 JUCO guard Rochelle Vazquez from Gulf Coast State College.

Has anyone heard what school Hannah Grim chose? I heard about the other 2 players leaving Marquette but haven't heard anything about Grim yet. I was just curious to see where she ended up.

Arielle Roberson, who sat out last year at Colorado due to injury, is transferring to West Virginia. She has her bachelors in hand and is eligible to compete immediately.

Kiana Johnson, twice dismissed from Michigan State, and who sat out last season has committed to Division II Virginia Union.

As has been posted earlier, CU's Arielle Roberson is transferring out, but CU is gaining transfer Ariana Freeman from Louisville. She's a 5-9 guard who will have three seasons of eligibility after sitting our next season.

In a couple of seasons down the road CU should be loaded in the back court given the recruiting class they have coming in plus a pair of solid looking sophomore- to-be.

Two Baylor players seeking transfer:

Junior-to-be Ieahia Small and Soph-to-be MiCayla Buckner.

This puts Baylors roster at 15 players for next season

Other oversized rosters include Georgia Tech at 18 and West Virginia at 16.

Roberson is one of 11 new players on the 2015 Mountaineer womens team. Included in this number are FSU transfer Chania Ray, a JUCO player, and 8 frosh. Three starters are expected to return to West Virginia including Bria Holmes. That's an extensive rebuild.

Connie Yori adds Kyndal Clark, the Missouri Valley conference 2014 player of the year, out of Drake University to her Cornhusker squad

The 5'5" Clark was the recipient of 2014 Jackie Stiles award for POY but missed last year due to season ending injury suffered during Drake's first game of the year. Clark will obtain her undergrad degree this weekend and be eligible to play for Nebraska next season.
