Cards blew a 16 point lead. Jude blows two layups. Kentucky deserves this one.

Louisville giving up huge leads and losing to Kentucky is beginning to be a trend. Walz, the supposed coaching genius becomes a blubbering idiot when he faces the wildcats. And why Jude decided to wait till the game got to a critical point to start shooting (and missing) I will never know. All the turnovers was vintage Louisville basketball. Forgot that Shoni wasn't out there for a second and then I saw the 0-5 at 3pt line. Lots of fouls on both sides but Louisville being without Hammond and Smith for a while hurt. Still the seniors need to step up more especially Jude, can't go 0-6 and have 4 turnovers and never get to the line. Can't wait for next year when the guard problem is fixed because as of now is see Smith being the only productive guard against top 25 competition.

How is Walz end of game coaching?

I think it depends on the opponent. His end game coaching in the Maryland game last year was masterful even though they fell short. However, if you look at the last four games against Kentucky, I believe three of them his team gave up huge leads and of course in the Baylor game they gave up their huge lead and just barely were able to win. In this particular game Walz failed to adjust their defense and it cost them the game. But Kentucky deserves credit too, they played a good second half.
