Creighton hanging around. 7 pts NU lead with about 3:30 to go.
Theriot is one of my favorite players in all of WCBB. Tall pg and good shooter.
Tonight 6-8 from the floor, 14 pts, 9 assists, 4 rebounds. I just really like her game.

Do you think her game would translate well to the WNBA?

The great equalizer - the 3 pt shot.
Creighton is 10-19 from behind the arc.
4 pt game with a minute to go.

I think she needs to improve on protecting the ball better. Too many turnovers, better D at the next level will exacerbate that. Other than that, yes. Good outside shooter, good at going to the basket, and really desireable size. I would think she'll make a roster. Whether she makes an impact is more questionable.
Oh, they just said she's also 37-39 from the FT line for the year. DePaul could use her, that's for sure.
NU holds on by the skin of its teeth to win 60-57.

Wow....that was too close. I'm having a hard time seeing NEB as the #1 Big 10 team. Rutgers gets my vote.

That was quite a comeback, but may say more about NE than Creighton.

Creighton is Yori's alma mater and Flannery is her former assistant. This series will always be close.
Also, most our bench is injured and even then we don't have a lot of depth outside of our staring 5. Cady and Theriot are our two big guns and Laudermill and Jeffrey have been inconsistent. Before Romeo injured her foot she was our most consistent offense off the bench.
We should be able to handle the rest of our non-conference but I'm hoping our injured players can get back sooner rather than later or else conference play ain't going to be pretty.

That's the second time this season I've seen Creighton. The first was against Seton Hall. No slouches they!
