free video from this tournament in the Bahamas was pretty good yesterday . Audio was weak at first , got better as the game I was watching went on . Be careful if you're wearing headphones though . Commercials were dangerously loud .

| Not sure what was going on with Coates . She didn't play much . Evidently no gametracker tonight and I want to see the stats . It seemed like Syracuse outrebounded us by a wide margin . They seemed to get every loose ball and long rebound . We looked slow until Dawn put in the small lineup with Wilson at center .

| I've thought Syr has been getting too little credit. With the Day twins and a couple others, they're big, and have good guard play. They let a signature win get away from them tonight, but they will be solid this year.

| Day completely outplayed Elem Ibiam . I've seen two mock WNBA drafts with Ibiam as a first rounder, and I'll be damned if I know what they are seeing . She is a decent college player , but no real offensive game .

It's a fairly weak draft. First round shouldn't be all that difficult.

Finally got to see the official box score this morning . As I suspected , Syracuse out rebounded South Carolina 50-35 . Briana Day with 17 rebounds and 13 points . Alaina Coates and Elem Ibiam combined for 0 points and 4 rebounds .
Syracuse really packed in the zone and South Carolina hit just enough threes (9-for-26) to stay in the game . Dawn went to a small lineup (with Wilson at center) down the stretch and it paid off . Tiffany Mitchell had her usual solid all around game (21 points, 8 rebounds) but A'ja Wilson was the difference in the final minutes . Wilson had 15 points and 10 rebounds in 26 minutes , and was voted tournament MVP .
