Gophers win on the road 68-62. At the half, Rachel Banham and Amanda Zuhai B. had combined for 3 points as both were tagged with two early fouls. But Minny only trailed by two thanks to Mikayla BAiley and Shae Kelly. When the stars returned, Gophs played well. True frosh Carlie Wagner saw limited action.

Starting to groove on Minny and their core of Banham, Kelly, and Zahui. Great crew for Stollings to craft a season from.

It was the first start for Zahui.

I'm hoping this win gets them to the Top 25 tomorrow. It should be close.

Maybe you're right. Purdue will probably drop out and Oklahoma will take that spot. But #26 is a good possibility.

There was a 3-way tie for 24 last week's poll, so there were 26 teams in the Top 25 last week (only Purdue lost). All the "Others receiving votes" ahead of Minnesota won their games, so they will only jump 1 or 2 teams at most if they're really lucky, so they'll sill be #28-#30.

Gophers still #30, with 14 points instead of 12 from last week. Purdue and James Madison dropped below them, but Vanderbilt & Mississipi State jumped ahead. Mississippi State at #25 with 77 points, so Gophers nowhere close to #25. Razz Razz Razz
