Thanks Shades for making these threads!
This game should be an interesting test for both teams.

No poll for this game? Outcome is probably far more in doubt than the UConn-Stanford game. Would be interesting what people thought.
I expect UNC to win, but that's no certainty.

40-45 UNC at the half
UCLA had 10 turnovers this half....turnovers cost them their last game.
UCLA: Fields 15pts 4reb, Canada 9pts 3reb
UNC: Grey 14pts 2reb, Mavunga & Washington with 6pts each

UNC pulling away (not surprising) 66-48 with 12min left in the game.

UCLA made a nice run to cut the lead from 20 to 8 but ran out of gas.
It looks like Fields will have to single handedly carry the team on her back while the freshmen find their way, and UCLA has a very tough OOC lineup. Could be a tough six weeks.

68-84 UNC final.
Fields: 21pts 8reb, Drummer 1pts 3reb, Billings 7pts 12reb & 21 team TO's
UNC had 5 players score in double figures. Rountree 17pts 6a, Gray 19pts 6reb, McDaniel 16pts 8reb, Washington 10pts, Jamie 10pts
UCLA was able to put together a couple nice runs to close the gaps but UNC was just too much for them. UCLA, looked rushed and tired towards the end.
I like UCLA's tough OOC schedule but they are going to have to take better care of the ball, give Fields some help and shoot better than 17% from 3pt range. Getting Costa back will help too.

UNC showing some nicely-shared responsibility in scoring the ball: 5 kids in double figures, including only-frosh Cherry. I'm thinking she's a firecracker!
