Iona running all over Fordham early, Princeton struggling with Pitt,

Maryland seems to be able to score, with 57 in a half, but it's against the Mount.

I'm pumped for a full slate of games. GO DEPAUL, BEAT THE AGGIES!

Why on earth are there so many games beginning so early today? Is there some holiday that I'm unaware of would allow a ton of people across the country to go to these games?

I don't recall ever seeing so many games start this early on a weekday. If I am looking correctly, there are currently 18 games underway with a few more scheduled to tip between 12:30 and 3:00 today.

Just the first day of the season, THEY always happen early, cause everyone is super pumped to get their season underway.

Princeton heard me talking about them struggling with Pitt and have reeled off 16 straight points for a 35-20 lead. Pitt has yet to score in the second. UNC Greensboro and Grambling State leading majors early.

Arkansas shooting 21.7% against Nicholls State doesn't bode well for Dykes heading into this season.

He better hope its abnormal for them to shoot this poorly.

As I'm sure we all expected, Iona has opened up a can of whoop-ass on the defending A-10 champions at Rose Hill. Damika Martinez is doing the whole "nation's highest returning scorer" thing with 20 points.

Iona is a legit top 25 team this year. Martinez and Adams are a great combo.

Fordham without Rooney isn't the same though. Add to the loss of Abigail Corning, Fordham is rebuilding this year.

Princeton the first winner of the 2014-2015 season with a good win over Pitt, 59-43.

Nicholls State LEADS Jimmy Dykes led Arkansas team at the half. How's that for a team OVERHYPED by ESPN.

Is 6'11" Bubbles Anderson gone from Pitt, or is she injured yet again, or is she sitting on the bench? Is she ever going to play a meaningful role?

Stanford has a live stream against BC.

Oregon has a live stream against Utah State.

LBSU has one for their game I believe.

I'll do more sleuthing later.

Quite a few ESPN3 and SECN+ (online) broadcasts, but nothing that I can find on cable.

UAB at Florida St and GWU at Fl Gulf Coast on ESPN3, and Penn at the Volunteers 😜 on SECN+ look interesting.

yeah, thanks. unfortunately my bandwidth is limited so I have to be very, very picky about watching games online. Sad If I find the TAMU/DePaul one, though I might indulge a little in that one.

I posted this for you in another thread, but I'll repeat it so you don't miss it. The BEDN is included in the Fox Sports Go app for your tablet or phone. If you install the Fox Sports Go app on your tablet, it looks like the DePaul - aTm game is on for free. I don't know if this is another "participating provider" deal or not, and if so, if my DirecTV gets me access. Guess I'll find out tonight. There's also an SJU game listed on the 20th by the way.

LSU is in some major danger of losing at home to Arkansas-Little Rock as they are down 11 with just under 8 mins to go in the game, 51-40.

#12 UCLA is up 12 at halftime on the road at James Madison, 40-28.

UALR leads LSU at the moment. To be fair, LSU doesn't have Ballard. Also, to be fair, UALR isn't even the best team in their conference. (Arkansas State or Western Kentucky). This is a good win for the Sun Belt if UALR can pull it off.

LR leads 61-44 with 4:50 left. LR starting to foul out of game as it's turned into a FT game. LSU has 10 baskets in the game and has gone 12 minutes withot one.

I know LSU is missing Ballard but they were picked as the 3rd best team by the SEC media. What's going on?

So are we going to read another entire season of nonsense about what a great coach Nikki Caldwell is?

Hey, but what was she wearing? Bet she looked great while losing to a Sun Belt team.

That's going to be a tough loss for LSU to overcome on selection day. Ark-LR RPI 140 last year.

BTW, isn't Kalani Brown supposed to announce her destination today? Wonder if this changes anything, or if today will just be a double disappointment for the Tiger faithful.

Speaking of Nikki Caldwell as a coach, James Madison has stormed back in the 2nd half to take a 2-point lead over UCLA with 5 minutes to go...outscored the Bruins by 14 points in the 2nd half.
