Numbers 2 & 5 didn't hurt their ranking last night against Indiana..............."Junior Ameryst Alston led five Buckeyes in double-figures with 27 points. She also added six assists and four rebounds.

Freshman Kelsey Mitchell did her thing again on Thursday, scoring 25 points, dishing-out a season-high eight assists and grabbing a season-high nine rebounds. She was 5-of-5 from three-point range and matched Alston with a team-high three steals."

Final 103-49.

Is OSU's bench really that thin that Mitchell needed to play 37 minutes in a complete rout?

Excellent question........and I have no idea why he would not give her a blow in a game like this.

I know that coach is trying to make her into more of a team player, since in HS she was, pretty much, the only horse in a pony show. In this game she had 8 assists (7 over her normal 1), and 1 turn over (far less than her normal "many")..................so maybe he just wanted to see more of that.

We are thin. About 6.5 I would say, when Scullion doesn't play.

Maybe Daddy insists. He is an assistant, after all.

Are you saying you think this is a new name for an old poster? If so, who did you have in mind? If that's not what you are suggesting, never mind.

Yep. That's a pretty big loss for Purdue. She had been playing well and is a key piece to their team with her combination of size/shooting ability.

Thanks for the update. I took the liberty of adding "BTN Plus" to the your listing. I don't know if anybody else has it, but I definitely feel like I'm getting my money's worth . . . I get to watch all games I want. (I plan to cancel after the conference season ends, btw)

So by Sunday the B1G season will be a third completed. And it looks very likely that PSU and possibly MSU will both reach that benchmark without winning a single game. Ouch!

As I said, I do. I bought my monthly subscription on January 1st and I plan to cancel it effective Feb 28th. So for about $30 I can follow the entire B!G WCBB season.

I've had it for the past month and a half or so. I think its fine, BTN has good quality coverage and honestly if I wanted to watch other conferences games I'd have to pay much more. For instance Duke is playing right now but you can't watch it unless you pay for 1 month of Blue Devil Network Plus for $9.95. For $120 you can get the whole Big 10 season basically through BTN+ which is way cheaper than me watching a Duke game one night for pay, an Oklahoma game the next night and so forth.

I realize you are a ND fan and ND games stream free but most every other team charges so getting this volume of games is better than the individual payments on each schools site IMO.

Yeah I guess the thing that annoys me a bit is that I'm already paying for the BTN through DirecTV and last year as a BTN subscriber you were able to watch all the BTN2Go content.

I think it still works that way for the SECN and Pac12N, doesn't it?

Delaney's just looking for another way to squeeze every possible nickel out of fans.

As for all those other schools' games, I'm not already paying for them, but I get all the ESPN3 games for no addional fee.

I don't believe you're correct, Art.

Live BTN games have always been free on the computer/tablet if it's part of your cable package. The non-broadcast games (Student U or in-house video feeds) have always been an additional subscription fee. Originally it was a per game purchase, and the last 3-4 years it has been monthly - either the lower rate for an individual school, or higher rate for all B1G schools.

ESPN only shows a % of the games being played. With BTN plus I can pretty much see anything in the Conf. ESPN may not require an up charge but it doesn't show as much.

I know last year I was able to watch games that were not on TV with no subscription. Indded they promoted the access to additional content online.

They were available after the fact with no $ but not available live.
