This is really so silly.

If she were my daughter, I would tell her this is a nice compliment and that's all. She has plenty of time to enjoy being a kid, playing the game, and dreaming big dreams. She's 9 years old, for God's sake! Serious recruiting can come later.

The Miami coaches, on the other hand, need a serious dose of reality…or a good slap upside the head. This ought to be illegal.

I say get your foot in the door as early as possible. Lots of times you hear a kid say, "I went with school X because they were the first to contact me." Let's face it, this kid is playing varsity ball already...her peers at least in the gym are 6-8 years older than her.
