I missed five in the first round already. Fortunately I didn't have any of them going to the Sweet 16, so it's not a catastrophe... yet! Day 2 always seems to give me trouble for some reason.

I seem to have managed something like MF's trick - the Mascot Bracket is in the Board Junkies Know All group and my "BeKnighted BJKA" bracket, which would be tied for 2nd, is not. Aargh!

You are limited to one bracket in the group. If you put the Mascots in first, the second would have been disallowed.

The peculiar thing is that I'm pretty sure I put the BJKA bracket in, since I did it first. Maybe when I set up the Mascot Bracket it got substituted into the group. Regardless, I didn't get it right. I guess the good news is that probably nobody else will have any real chance of coming in last.

Me too. I'm hoping the biggest upset of the tourney is in the final game.

I picked two 5/12 upsets. If Penn keeps beating up Texas, I will have gotten all four 5/12 games wrong.

Albany's giving WVU a challenge. We'll see who's brackets get ruined if Albany pulls out the win.

Thank you St Joes and JMU. Things were looking bleak, but now only one game out of first.

My bracket is completely trashed now.

But I was looking at the national leaderboard... How come someone from Europe who can't possibly be watching all the games always has the best bracket? Laughing

I was more concerned that our group supposedly comprised of experts is ranked 304th in the World. Come on, board junkies.

You'd be surprised, those europeans may have connections to people playing on the teams, i.e. relatives of europeans on basketball teams.

Ok, we're rolling now. 3rd place, just one pick behind, no teams lost in future rounds.

And the two players in front of me have the championship winner wrong. Laughing

Not my fault. Blame the six teams that I thought would win or the six teams I thought would lose. A perfect or near perfect bracket could have been a great marketing tool for my writing.

At the conclusion of Day 2, BJKA is now ranked #221. The cream shall rise!

the problem is that on the women's side, you pretty much score the highest if you go by the seeds...which is also the most boring. Now if we get a major upset in the next round, that will shake things up!

Halfway through round two, we have a 5, a 7, and a 12 into the Sweet Sixteen. But to illustrate Myrtle's point, my bracket containing all-favorites is 20 points ahead of my BJKA bracket.

Our group is now ranked #37!
