Who are some young, up and coming African-American female coaches?
What do you guys know about Chantelle Anderson? |
The last time I heard from her is that she was an assistant at Virginia Tech.

Trisha Stafford-Odom "gets real" about her reasons for leaving UNC for the Concordia HC position.
"While my first year there was more about acclimating to the rivalry of my previous place of employment and adjusting to the different styles of play and management, my second year gave room for immediate impact and demands."
She also says she was not trusted by UNC admin. Hmmm...the same admin that works 24/7/365 sweeping UNC coaching misdeeds under the proverbial rug? Are they just not willing to do the same for the women?

Baylor hires Prairie View A&M HC Toyelle Wilson |
Baylor also hires Sytia Messer, Associate HC from Ga Tech ... http://www.baylorbears.com/sports/w-baskbl/spec-rel/062413aaa.html |
4th assistant who has left for another job THIS SEASON! They have also lost several players to transfer the last two years. I wonder how much longer GT will keep Joseph around.

If the coaches are leaving because of some impending sanctions, then I could see her job in jeopardy.
If she doesn't make the NCAA tourney with the talent she has currently on roster plus the incoming kids, then she's on the hot seat.
Otherwise, I think her job is secure.

But haven't a couple of the players also transferred? Something is definitely going on with this much movement from GaTech.
Here's Part II of the TSO interview.
