These girls came ready to shoot the ball... three 3-balls in the first minute and a half.

Lots of movement. Hopefully this is a tightly contested up tempo game.

The Seminoles should win. I hope so, they have some chance of giving the Hussies a game.

Yeah. They'd only been down by 25 at the half instead of nearly 30 for Iowa State. Rolling Eyes

Right now I think I'd rather see MSU play UConn.

Their guards are fearless. Perhaps they will somehow have the night of their lives.

I mean, probably not.

It was only 19 for the whole game when they played earlier in the season.

This is a pretty good game, it seems like both teams are evenly matched.

I forgot how much I liked watched Chanel Mokango (from.. the CONGO) play.

Who gives a fugg? That was in Tallaha$$ee. When they played another Top 10 team away from that shithole arena, they got tossed.

A rematch would result in the game being over at the half.

A UConn-Mississippi State game would have the announcers saying "shutout" halfway through the first half and not be kidding.

Neither game would be interesting, but to say that F$U would come within 25 points of UConn in the first half on a neutral court is seriously overstating their abilities. I don't think Miss State would come close to challenging UConn, either. This game is the Super Bowl for both teams--something they can brag about while the rest of us focus on Stanford v. UConn.

Meanwhile... this game has been pretty fun to watch.

Both teams are being aggressive offensively.

It seems odd to me that in the middle of a tight game between Miss State and Florida State, Bob Wischusen served up a big plate of Geno-Pat with a side of Griner.

He's trying to prove how right Geno is about what would happen if UConn and Tennessee met in the tournament.

Is SportsGuru salivating over Jacinta Monroe yet? Confused

EXACTLY !
And he hit the ball out of the park. Wichusen made a fool of himself & proved Geno on point. It went right over his head the comment was more about the media (at least to me) & not as much a a jab at Pat as he would like it to be.

And while Mokango keeps finishing down low, Monroe has started to step up. She has the last five for FSU who is now up 1 with seven minutes left.

Govero is lights out today. Keeps hitting big time shots.

Ties it up at 62.

Outside of Connecticut, of course, this is what basketball is supposed to look like when played by two long, athletic, aggressive and assertive teams with talent.
And, this is an extremely enjoyable game to watch!

Even bballfan2005 is enjoying THIS game!

By the way, very good offense and defense from both teams...

Good game to watch, and no matter which wins, I'll bet UConn's next opponent won't come out as intimidated as their first three opponents in this tourney have.

You assume bballfan2005 is watching this game, and you couldn't be more wrong...

What a bullshit call by such a gutless referee!

Having said that, I really didn't think that Florida State was going to pull this out. I'm sure bballfan2005 felt the same way...

Was this the most entertaining game of the tournament so far?

Teams that can challenge UConn don't go down to the wire in consecutive games against lower seeds, do they? Wink

I think everyone will agree with me in saying that F$U's luck runs out on Tuesday night.

Most likely. I think they have a chance to not get embarrassed like everyone else has.
