The lead is up to 50, ThreeBall. It's been time for Heather Buck.

Someone is overrating Heather Buck.. Wink

She's a mess though. We are in way over our head if she's our number one option in the post next season. I wouldn't be surprised to Geno use a line up of Hartley or Dixon, Doty, Faris, Hayes and Moore as starters.

I think we have too good posts as freshman coming in.

But yea..actually..a Hartly, Doty, Faris, Hayes, Moore lineup would be interesting..I think it could actually work out well..

Even the 2002 team didn't put up scoring margins like this.

I think either one of those five that singinerd and bballfan listed would beat Connecticut.

You're both overexaggerating. She can't be THAT bad.

We have Johnson who is coming off back-to-back ACL's and Dolson who is really going to have to get into shape (she's not a McLaren though).

Speaking of Kaili, what the hell happened to her? She had a solid sophomore season, but is now buried deep on the bench behind Dixon, Faris, and Gardler.

She gained weight and it didn't make Geno happy...thus a bit of a doghouse.

Also, Uconn likes to run..Kailli can't really do that. When the game slows down, she comes in.

ANd Johsno and Dolson will still be better than Buck. And hopefully just supply height/rebounds when needed.

Just wanted to make sure I woke up before the Miss/Florida game, which was FANTASTIC, by the way!

She really is though. If the fact that her former high school teammate, who was going to play D3 hoops at Western Connecticut before she walked on at UConn, gets off the bench before her, I don't know what is.

Either Buck was grossly overrated in recruiting rankings coming out of high school, or she is a testament of how bad CT HS hoops is. I wonder how many players she faced over 6' while winning those state POY awards.

That said, I don't hate her, and would love to see her contribute at UConn. I do like how she posts up hard every posession and she can really run the floor. It is just disappointing since she sat out all of last year... I thought she'd be able to contribute SOMETHING this season.

It's shocking really,

LAST season I saw an open practice, and Buck gave Tina fits (defensively) in the post. I thought she was impressive.

This season though, she's just...soo...bad..I'm still going to hold out hope though.

I think I remember Geno saying that Buck was just nervous. Hopefully she can get over that, because what is there to be nervous about in mop-up time?
