Rachel Allison has just signed with my local team here in Australia for the 2010 QBL Season.

Any one got any info on what she'll bring to our side?

Her stats seem solid enough, but they rarely tell the full story.

From what I remember of her, she was a VERY solid player for Baylor. I'm not quite sure exactly why she didn't get a fair go in the WNBA...I remember thinking that she was good enough.

She was injured at the end of last season.

Rachel had a no-holds-barred toughness, downright nasty attitude, and never-say-die work ethic. In fact, I would say she was probably the dirtiest player in the Big 12, in her day. She is a competitor, for sure, and, I think, will be an asset to your team.

Are you anywhere near Townsville? Rachel's old Big 12 opponent, former Sooner Leah Rush, has been playing for the Fire. Different league from your local team, right? Nevertheless, if they're somehow ever on the court together again, watch for the fireworks! They both give it all they have, all the time.
